It happend for me some of my old blog but after one or two week it started working well, but once I figured it out whats the real problem (blacklisted for self promotion) I stopped the practise, I hope all of you do this and try other mode like mixx, buzz for that purpose.

I think this may have answered my question. StumbleUpon quit working for me a few weeks ago (just the blank screen someone else mentioned) – then it started working again a day or two later. Today it quit again! I finally found this site. StumbleUpon has NO information about this from what I can find and they announce that their customer support only works M-F days. Really helpful when it’s Saturday and their service no longer works… Anyway, after reading the comments here I was able to successfully bookmark this site but still not the article on mine. Very frustrating.

I was using SU quite a bit but I do not like the way they conduct business! Apparently my URI is blacklisted but they can’t even have the decency to provide a notice?!? They can’t provide documentation on what they consider acceptable use?!? At least Google tells you what the terms of service are and what they will blacklist your site over. SU just leaves users to uninstall and reinstall toolbars for no reason.

Thanks for the info. I guess I will be joining the ranks of disaffected StumbleUpon users. Goodbye StumbleUpon. It’s been real…

They want you to buy their ad service, so they only let you submit so many pages from one url.

Install febe plugin, make a new firefox profile and reinstall all plugins again with febe. I’ve made the new profile on a seperate partition for the sakes, but i’m not confident if that’s got something to do with it in the first place since there are not any long directories in this folder I noticed afterwards. So as for me, it’s no big deal, just create another profile. That did the trick for me

Dammm you did I lot of things to try and fix StumbleUpon! It’s been like this for 7 months! I dought they’ll change it back to the original way… Unfortunatly.

Same thing here: uninstalled/reinstalled, cleaned, checked my adsl line (whitch was good: gained 500Kb/sec replacing the copper)… so I found this with google! Nothing helped so far, but I’m relieved that it’s a stumbleupon problem. Hope they stick their heads back real soon! (with all this ebay nonsens going on) Can’t live without it! Or maybe I should find a ‘proper’ hobby…

You can’t even stumbleupon other websites? huh! That’s not supposed to happen! Anyone else having the same problem? This could be the end of stumbleupon!

Either way, I stopped using stumble upon a while back cause it pissed me off too much that I couldn’t stumble my own posts! I wasn’t even spamming! That’s just lame!

If we look at the statistics for SU on alexa, you can see the visitor count have been dropping a lot since June 2008 ! Wow! The service is dying!

Although I’m not happy that others are experiencing the same thing, it does make me feel a bit better. My problem is that I’m not able to stumble anything these days – whether it’s my site or other sites. It’s incredibly frustrating. I think Stumbleupon can be a great resource but I’m about to give up. Every time I try to submit something (not my website) it times out. Any suggestions?

I thought I was going crazy for a second! I’m in the same situation as everyone else. I stumble a lot of other pages and I’ll “try” to stumble some of my really good blog posts….no luck there!
