Petra Nemcova Biography

Petra Nemcová is a topmodel born June 24, 1979 in Karviná, the Czech Republic. Petra is particularly known for her appearances in the Swismsuit Issue of the American magazine Sports Illustrated, Petra NemCova was the cover photo in 2003.

During the tsunami of 26 December 2004, Petra Namcova was wounded in the hip, after being hung for more than 8 hours to a tree to escape the current waves of the tsunami. Her friend, the British photographer Simon Atlee was missing for 10 days before his body was identified.
