Here’s the story behind the song :

That saturday afternoon – October 15, 2005 – Phil and I went to Biarritz, France for a bodyboard surf session at a beach called Miramar! I remember the powerful swell that day! We drifted towards the Grande Plage beach in front of the Biarritz Casino, not far from an imposing rock lodged on the left side of the beach. The waves were picking up, some surfer were tired and had trouble ducking under the waves and got some bad beatings! The lip of the wave seemed to have more power than usual so you really did not want to get a direct hit. I have to admit i wasn’t so comfortable in this swell but i stuck to my shit and did my thing! The day turned out quite interesting so Phil and I decided to do a musical recording session after some intense surfing! It became Miramar after many hours of hard dedicated work!
